Embracing the Pacific Northwest means immersing yourself in its serene beauty and breathtaking mountain ranges. With TST, you’ll uncover the enchantment of the globally acclaimed Snoqualmie Falls.
Embark on a picturesque 45-minute journey east of Seattle, crossing the shimmering waters of Lake Washington via its iconic floating bridges. As you tread into the Cascade Mountain Range’s embrace, you’ll encounter the charming towns of Snoqualmie, Twin Falls, and North Bend, famed for being the backdrop of David Lynch’s cult classic, Twin Peaks.
Our first stop? The Lower Falls Viewpoint. Along the way, marvel at the penstocks feeding the hydroelectric power plant and gear up for some stellar photo moments. As you stroll the elevated catwalk, you’ll soon be met by the awe-inspiring sight of the 268-foot waterfall. This mighty cascade has been powering the Northwest with sustainable hydroelectric energy since the turn of the century.
Feeling adventurous? You can embark on a scenic 0.6-mile hike to the Upper Falls Viewing area. Worry not about the journey; your guide awaits with refreshing bottled water, ready to lead you to the upper observation deck. As you soak in the panoramic vistas, the cascading waters and chirping birds create nature’s symphony.
After this exhilarating hike, you’re in for a treat. Sit back and enjoy a gourmet two-course meal in the elegant dining room of the Salish Lodge & Spa. With a beverage of your choice in hand, reminisce about the day’s adventures amidst a tranquil ambiance.
But wait, the fun doesn’t end here! Before we wave goodbye to Snoqualmie, indulge in some shopping at the lodge’s gift shop, relive scenes from Twin Peaks, try your luck at a local casino, or savor a delightful ice cream cone in the quaint town of Snoqualmie.
And, for those passionate about history, a drive past the open-air railway museum promises to be a delightful detour.
Let’s create memories, shall we?
