Escape the concrete jungle of Seattle and head North to experience the beauty of Spring in this seasonal specialty tour.
This 10-hour Pacific Northwest experience allows you to explore a gorgeous island in the Puget Sound from Seattle to see the beautiful tulip fields of the Skagit River Valley. If you would like to consider our other days out and experiences, browse our Private Seattle Tours and our Speciality Seattle Tours.
We drive North on I-5 to the town of Mount Vernon, making fun stops along the way. In the charming small town we walk the town, window shop, grab coffee and use restrooms. After that we park to enter the incredible farms of Tulip Town & Roozengaarde to see their multiple acres of colorful Tulip blooms.
We then continue west to reach the bridge above Deception Pass. The bridge itself is incredible but so are the hiking trails below. There is a good reason why Deception Pass is Washington’s most popular State Park, and the views from the bridge will let you see why first hand.
Finishing up at Deception Pass, we head south onto Whidbey Island. Our first stop will be for lunch as the long drive North and walking at Deception Pass State Park is sure to work up an appetite. After our meal, there will be plenty of time to explore the charming smalls towns like Langley, Oak Harbor, Coupeville & Fort Casey while taking in the natural beauty of the Island and its suroundings.
After exploring the island, we head south to catch the ferry boat off the Island Whidbey Island which departs from the town of Clinton. The quick 20-minute ferry passage drops you in the town of Mukilteo, en route to I-5 South so that we can drive back south into the city to drop off at your accommodation or off to your next adventure.
